My Journey
My college journey began with Computer Science, but heavy coding & technicalities never really clicked for me. Instead, I found myself drawn to digital products and how they impact users and businesses.
I started by designing for projects with friends and gradually learning the basics of UX/UI on my own. In my third year of college, I worked on my first real project—an app idea I had brainstormed. While searching for tools to lay out its interface, I came across the field of UI and UX design. That experience introduced me to the practical side of designing user-focused solutions and set the direction for my journey.
The Process
The design process, for me, has always been about navigating challenges and asking the right questions rather than finding a straightforward solution.
Creativity stems from both imagination and observation—just like in math, where it's directly proportional to these factors. Just as there are countless ways to solve a mathematical problem, the same holds true for design challenges.
Throughout my career, I’ve approached design problems from various angles, and always new perspective which helps in identifying the underlying unique problems in every new challenges.
It’s this balance between creativity and functionality that drives my work. I aim to blend aesthetics with purpose, ensuring that each project not only looks good but also provides a seamless and engaging user experience.
My journey in design
The idea of designing something was always an interesting, fun and challenging thing for me to do. It might be an art, a product and since my career started it was user interfaces and digital experiences.
It is not individual creativity but a diverse contribution of interests that aims to polish and upgrade the design process. And very important as well is the ability to observe, no matter how small an element it might be, as these subtleties often determine functionality and impact in the final product.
Fast-forward to present, I have delivered multiple client projects, developing skills in user research, prototyping, and designing user-centric interfaces and web designing. I focus on creating high-quality digital experiences that align with both user needs and business objectives. I am always eager to explore new design challenges and continuously upskill to deliver impactful and efficient digital solutions.
I have been on this journey for the past several months, building this portfolio. The process has never been easy, yet it has made some impact on my mentality and the ability to improve on things to be able to deliver the best of my skills to showcase.
